Warranty Policy

1.   Warranty Coverage

We stand behind the quality of our furniture. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for a period of one year from the date of purchase.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

2.    What Is Covered

This warranty covers, but is not limited to:

Structural integrity of frames

Cracks, splits, or breaks in solid wood components

Seam separation or fabric tears not caused by misuse

Mechanical issues with reclining or adjustable parts (if applicable)

Defective hardware or joints

3.    What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear (fading, softening of cushions, pilling)

Accidental damage (spills, burns, pet damage, etc.)

Improper use, cleaning, or maintenance

Commercial use (unless specified in a commercial-use warranty)

Unauthorized repairs or modifications

Damage caused by exposure to extreme conditions (moisture, direct sunlight, etc.)

4.    Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, please:

Contact our customer service at sales@triplejfurniture.com.au

Provide your proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).

Share photos or videos showing the defect.

Describe the issue and how it occurred.

We may request that the item be returned or inspected.

5.     Remedies

If your furniture is deemed defective under this warranty, we will, at our discretion:

Repair the defective part

Replace the defective item or component

Provide a comparable item if the original is no longer available

In some cases, a partial refund or store credit may be offered.

6.    Limitations

This warranty is limited to the purchase price of the item.

No other warranties, express or implied, apply beyond what is stated here.

We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages.

7.    Shipping and Freight Charges

If a warranty claim requires the item to be returned to our warehouse for inspection or repair:

Within the First 12 Months: We will cover the cost of return and re-delivery
shipping if the claim is approved and the defect is determined to be covered under warranty.

After 12 Months or for Out-of-Warranty Repairs: The customer is responsible for

All shipping and freight charges to and from our warehouse.
We recommend using original packaging (if available) or appropriate protective materials to ensure safe transit.

We are not responsible for damage incurred during return shipping.

Mattress Warranty Policy

1.   Warranty Coverage

We provide a 5 to 15 Years Limited Warranty on all mattresses,

covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, starting from the original date of purchase. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

 

2.   What Is Covered

This warranty applies under normal household use and covers the following:

Sagging or body impressions greater than 1.5 inches that are not the result of improper use or an unsuitable foundation.

Defects in the foam or spring construction (such as broken or bent coils).

Cracks or splits in the foam under normal use.

Faulty zippers on mattress covers or unraveling stitching (if applicable).

Manufacturing flaws in the fabric cover (excluding stains or burns).

3.   What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

Comfort preference (e.g., “too soft” or “too firm”)

Body impressions less than 1.5 inches

Damage due to misuse, abuse, or unsanitary conditions

Stains, burns, cuts, tears, or liquid damage

Mold or mildew resulting from improper ventilation or moisture exposure

Use of the mattress on an inadequate or incompatible foundation (e.g., slatted bases without proper spacing)

Mattresses used in commercial or non-residential settings (unless specifically sold for
such use)

Transportation or freight costs after the initial warranty period

4.   Proper Foundation Requirements

To keep this warranty valid, the mattress must be used on a solid, flat, and supportive foundation or bed frame. Examples of acceptable support include:

Platform beds with adequate slats (no more than 3 inches apart)

Box springs or foundations in good condition

Adjustable bases (used according to manufacturer guidelines)

Mattresses placed directly on the floor or on broken/slatted bases may void the warranty.

How to File a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim:

Provide your proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).

Include photos or video showing the defect.

Describe the issue and how it was discovered.

We may request an inspection or that the mattress be returned for evaluation.

 

5.   Freight and Handling

The customer is responsible for all transportation and freight costs, even if the issue is approved under warranty.

6.   Remedy

If your mattress is found to be defective within the warranty period, we will:

Repair or replace the defective product (at our discretion), or

Provide a comparable replacement if the model is discontinued

Replacement of a mattress does not extend or restart the original warranty period.

7.   Limitation of Liability

This warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the mattress. We are not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages. No other express or implied warranties apply
beyond the terms stated here.
